Ben is an experienced commercial lawyer and company director with particular experience in agribusiness,
Ben commenced his professional career working for a high-profile queens counsel barrister, before shifting focus to commercial and rural law with a well-established firm in Southland, where he remains a consultant solicitor.
Ben has extensive experience in advisory services including acquisitions, divestment and restructures, together with work in dispute resolution. He has acted for and/or directed significant entities in the agriculture, property and infrastructure sectors. Additionally, he has amassed knowledge of legal and economic systems globally through involvement in commercial transactions and participation in industry delegations throughout Australasia and South East Asia.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Otago, is an Associate of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ) and a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors (CMInstD).

Alastair has held a diverse range of commercial and management roles in a variety of industries with his most recent being 11 years in HR, Talent & Recruitment.
Alastair is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and an experienced Director having been a Director of various nationwide companies taking roles within them from Chairman, Audit & Risk committee, CEO review and appraisal committee and appointments panel.
Alastair is currently the Chairman Turner Heights Queenstown, Deputy Chair Netball South and is a board member of Diabetes NZ, Clutha Health First and CCT Dunedin.
With a strong focus on Health & Safety Alastair is a strong leader and effective communicator, bringing an array of both professional and personal attributes to these roles.

Rose spent almost twenty years with New Zealand’s Inland Revenue Department, working in a range of examination, treasury reconciliation and review roles before shifting to a management role in corporate services, which included human resources in particular training and development of staff. More recently she has had involvement in the management and farming of significant family farming interests in both sheep / beef and dairying. This included at one stage the oversight of two large dairy farms, performing the role of Managing Director with responsibilities for up to 20 staff and contractors and substantial assets.
Given her broad and diverse background Rose brings to assignments an empathy with the realities of rural issues, while at the same time maintaining a reputation for thoroughness and attention to detail.
